Ms Gillard has announced she’ll travel to Indonesia next for bilateral talks with president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
Mr Morrison says the coalition would welcome any announcement of more Australian support for Indonesia to tackle the problem of people smuggling or a turn-back policy.
But he says the Australian people have come to expect little from the Gillard government on stopping asylum-seeker boats.
