Where paid by love

The volunteer doctors of the African-Hungarian Union (AHU) departed to Madagascar.

Dr. Judit Olácsi, otolaryngologist from Győr, Dr. Nóra Pintér, family doctor from Budapest, Dr. Kis Imre, family doctor from Tokaj and the volunteers, Virág Viniczai, French interpreter, Dr. Gabriella Farkas, pedagogue with alternative teaching methods and Virág Kiss, humanitarian coordinator of AHU are now all prepared for the mission.

Richard Randrianasolo, Madagascars honorary consul to Hungary said that the upcoming mission is a very special undertaking, because Hungary is a relatively small and unknown country in Madagascar so it will be difficult mission. The honorary consul also mentioned that a lot of work and preparation was made before the mission could start. He also provided the doctors with all the necessary official documents and permitions.

The members of the team excitedly prepared for the mission and the experienced members said it is really easy to love Africa. The African people are kind and grateful for all help. Everyone who have ever been to Africa could feel the same thing: the love.

The six mission of the AHU so far, was highly successful. The 16 doctors of the 6 teams have healed more than 17 000 people during the missions, and gave them medicines as well.
