Amrit Indo-Hungarian periodical launched

The name of the magazine that publishes articles in the fields of culture, economy, politics and Indian-Hungarian relation, was inspired by Amrita Sher-Gil, Hungarian-born painter. We celebrate the centennial of her birth this year. On the other hand, “amrit” means jam or essence, which refers to our wish to present the best of Indian culture.
