Amrit Indo-Hungarian periodical launched

A new bi-monthly magazine has been launched by the Embassy of India. The periodical publishes writings in 3 languages: English, Hungarian and Hindi.

The name of the magazine that publishes articles in the fields of culture, economy, politics and Indian-Hungarian relation, was inspired by Amrita Sher-Gil, Hungarian-born painter. We celebrate the centennial of her birth this year. On the other hand, “amrit” means jam or essence, which refers to our wish to present the best of Indian culture. The September-October issue has come out in relation to President Viktor Orbán’s visit. The periodical is available at the Embassy, the Indian Cultural Center or can be downloaded from their website
