World War One cannon stolen from RSL in SA

A RARE cannon used in World War One has been stolen from an RSL club just two days before Anzac Day.

The mortar cannon went missing from an RSL club at Murray Bridge, south east of Adelaide, between Monday evening and Tuesday morning, police said.

The cannon is of significant historical value and has an estimated value of more than $40,000.
